Chyron LIVE's master control panels for graphics playout

Chyron Unveils New Features for All-in-One Cloud Production Platform

Las Vegas, NV – April 8, 2025 – At the 2025 NAB Show, Chyron today unveiled significant updates across nearly every module of Chyron LIVE, an all-in-one production platform that delivers professional video switching, graphics, replay, telestration, audio mixing, and commentary in a cloud-native environment that is available on-demand. Chyron LIVE’s latest features deliver major improvements to every step of remote production including camera tally, graphics playout, audio routing, and multi-commentator shows.
Chyron LIVE now provides a tally workflow to ensure seamless collaboration between remote directors and on-site camera operators. Chyron LIVE generates a web browser page for each camera input that acts as a tally with red and green light indicators. Operators can simply load-up the relevant page on their phone and mount it on their camera for a quick and easy tally solution.
For graphics playout, one of LIVE’s most powerful feature additions is the new master control panel. Providing total freedom in customization, LIVE’s master control panels enable users to build tailored interfaces for their graphics packages that completely simplify live playout. Users can build a one-to-one representation of a scoreboard for a sports match, an intuitive ticker-management interface for news, or any variety of control interfaces. With these custom interfaces, any operator can make the most of PRIME CG’s powerful broadcaster-quality graphics.
“With the latest updates to LIVE, our team is making every step of remote, cloud-native streaming production more approachable and accessible to any content creator,” said Kristy Weir, product manager for Chyron LIVE. “The master control panels in particular are a major gamechanger for customers looking to elevate their on-air look and dynamic storytelling. Pairing PRIME CG’s rich multi-layered scenes with intuitive custom interfaces is the recipe behind some of the world’s most impressive on-air graphics that are created by Chyron’s top-tier customers. In bringing this capability to Chyron LIVE, an on-demand cloud production platform, we’re making this professional production workflow available to any organization who wants to create great content – at a fraction of the price.”
On the audio side of production, Chyron LIVE’s latest updates deliver greater audio routing flexibility. Users can now go beyond the default stereo mix, with a range of customizable audio configurations tailored to diverse production needs. Audio operators can now break out and independently manage audio channels, which is great for accessing and fine-tuning embedded audio tracks from an encoded streaming signal. LIVE’s audio mixer also offers the ability to create custom audio output groups with select audio inputs. Once a group is created, it’s controllable via a single master fader for ease of use, and assignable to any of LIVE’S output tracks.
Alongside LIVE’s audio enhancements, is a major expansion to remote commentator capability. Chyron LIVE now supports up to four connected commentators within a single environment, with two connectable via SRT connection, and two connectable via simple button-push WebRTC connection in LIVE’s Commentator interface. The perfect tool for bringing guest commentators into a production with ease, LIVE’s Commentator interface now features full-screen previews, at-a-glance audio monitoring, and a built-in how-to guide for first-time guest commentators.
“At the 2025 NAB Show, we’re demonstrating all of these new features with some very exciting use case demos on the Chyron booth” concludes Weir “Customers across all tiers of sports production can see how to stream a basketball game with data-driven graphics and intuitive scoreboard control, or news organizations can see how to drive an OTT channel with simple on-air graphics control and rundown-based playout. Be sure to visit Booth SL-1511 to see how you can take streaming production to the next level with LIVE.”
