Chyron Realigns EMEA Sales Structure to Enhance Agility in Guiding Customers to Next-Gen Live Production Workflows

MELVILLE, N.Y.Mar. 2, 2021 Chyron today announced that the company has realigned the structure of its EMEA sales operations to enable greater efficiency in meeting customer requirements and in guiding customers toward the next generation of live production. As part of this initiative, Chyron has named Olivier Cohen its SVP of EMEA sales and appointed Rosa Pereiro to serve as Senior Sales Director for Southern Europe.

Changes within the EMEA sales team will more clearly delineate accounts and territories covered to ensure that Chyron customers enjoy consistent service. At the same time, the full sales team will focus more closely on enabling clients of all sizes to make a smart transition toward a software-based tech stack capable of supporting future production workflows for broadcast and fan-engagement.

“Rosa’s experience helping digital media organizations to problem-solve, transform, and grow makes her a perfect fit for our European sales operations,” said Cohen. “She brings insights from roles as an IT engineer, a sales director, and team leader in a multicultural environment, plus valuable expertise in collaborative workflows leveraging advanced asset management and cloud technologies. We are confident she will play an integral part in helping Chyron to bring versatile, forward-looking solutions to broadcasters and venues.”

Pereiro joins Chyron having most recently served as senior client solutions sales director, Asia, for Brightcove, where she consulted with clients on cloud/SaaS/online video monetization, change management strategy, and digital transformation. She previously was director of sales, Asia Pacific, for Dalet Digital Media Systems. Pereiro began her career as a telecommunications engineer, having earned a degree in telecommunications engineering at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a Master of Science in communications and information technology at Technische Universität Darmstadt.

“Chyron is going beyond the conventional graphics workflow to support customers in implementing the software tech stack, architectures, and product integrations that enable next-generation production workflows,” said Pereiro. “Exciting new solutions are in the pipeline at Chyron, and I look forward to matching new production capabilities and workflow models to our customers’ technical and creative aspirations.”
