About the role:
ChyronHego is looking for a Network and IT Administrator for our Brno office! Come join us as a key member of the Global IT team. You’ll be part of a small team that has a huge impact on our business and customers.
You will be responsible for supporting the IT leadership team across the globe in the implementation, administration and maintenance of the organization’s network, hardware and corporate IT infrastructure. You will also be responsible for providing hands-on support of software applications and troubleshooting of office IT issues for our office team members. Here’s an overview:
Responsibilities
- Network administration
- Monitor and manage peripheral network environments (Firewalls, switches, etc.)
- Support and monitor the install and update of network hardware and software
- Support DPO in managing data and network security systems
- Corporate IT
- Manage office network and phone systems (Cisco, Meraki Wifi, Shortel VOIP, etc.)
- Help manage business recover systems (backup, recovery, etc.)
- Administration
- Help manage work management tools such as Jira, Confluence and Teamviewer
- Develop and manage IT projects and action tickets
- IT support
- Handle IT HW/SW Installations, support and troubleshooting to Corporate teams and users
- Help manage system configuration and access permissions
- Manage Corporate office hardware and systems (printers, AV, etc.)
About you
- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or similar field; or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Minimum 3 years of network / IT experience
- Excellent self management and troubleshooting skills
- Internal customer service oriented
- Enthusiastic and intellectually curious about technology, and are motivated by the challenges of helping to transform a company and industry
- Strong at effectively juggling competing priorities, managing multiple matters, and meeting deadlines under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A self-starter who can own and resolve problems, operate independently, and provide recommendations consistent with good IT practices and common sense
- A highly collaborative person who is flexible, and provides proactive and creative solutions that are responsive to your team and leadership
- Able to fit into a hardworking, but sociable environment
- Cisco CNNA, CompTIA Network+ Certifications preferred, but not required
