With Lyric PRO 8, Chyron reaffirms our commitment to a script-less creative environment with the introduction of our Inherit State technology, including a script-less Conditional Transition Manager for complex scene-to-scene transitions. Lyric PRO 8 is engineered with innovative features like, Adaptable Primitives Geometry, Extended FBX 2010 support for 3DS Max, Adobe XMP metadata compliant, Enhanced Render to Disk and Active Surface Textures.
Our powerful continuous graphics rendering engine is the core provider of unrivaled, real-time, high-end 3D animations. Hierarchical grouping and keyframe timeline attributes provide designers with a familiar and interactive toolset and direct integration to industry standard application such as Adobe Creative Suite and Autodesk’s 3d solutions. Lyric PRO 8 is standard on Chyron’s HyperX³ graphics system, and is available as an option on the LEX3 and MicroX graphics systems.

Stereoscopic 3D support is available at no additional cost on a dual channel HyperX3 system. Touch GraphX, Chyron’s touch screen solution, allows the artist or creative director to implement touch enabled graphics for the studio or remote without writing a single line of code or script. Simply assign or draw hotspots, select an action for the touch gesture to do, save the scene and your done. The touch enabled graphic is ready for air at a moments notice.
FULL INTEROPERABILITY WITH LIVE DATA SOURCES AND THE NEWSROOM
Time-critical news and sports environments demand the ability to update text and graphics at a moment’s notice. Lyric PRO 8 offers quick, manual update, as well as a indispensible set of update tools, including the industry-standard Chyron Intelligent Interface® and DBLink. Optional, third-party live data import applications can be added for linking data from web sites , sports tickers and news services. Lyric PRO 8 is also one of the core elements of Chyron’s cloud workflow solution.
